Celebrating 365 Days of Here for You Ministry
Today, Here for You Ministry turns ONE! What a crazy, fun, whirlwind it has been!
I’ve often laughed with others this year, saying: “A person should never attempt to start a ministry, build awareness of that ministry, publish a book, market a book, and lead a study tour to Israel while building ministry partnerships—all in the same year!” Then I have to quickly add, “Unless that’s what God has called you to do.”
And that’s exactly what God called us to do. So, we did it!
It’s been full, stretching, and yes, sometimes quite challenging, but I can honestly say we’ve had so much fun. Watching God do far more than we could have ever asked or imagined, while we simply got to be along for the ride, has been breathtaking in the best way.
Highlights from Year One
While I wish I could capture every moment of God’s faithfulness, but that would make this blog way too long, so here are just a few highlights that stand out:
• Partnership in Croatia — Our friendship and ministry connection there has been one of the greatest blessings in our lives. Their tireless passion to make Christ known convicts and inspires us deeply.
• Publishing Esteemed — Working with Redemption Press to release Esteemed: God and His View of Women has been such a gift. God is clearly intent on making sure His deep love and high regard for women is made known.
• Esteemed Around the World — Over 700 copies are now in circulation! Beyond the U.S., Esteemed is in the hands of readers in Nigeria, Liberia, Germany — and, of course, the Croatian version of Esteemed, "Uvažena."
God is opening doors for this study that we didn't even know to knock on and using it in ways we never imagined. I remember, before the release, Bryan and I debating whether we should order 100 or 125 copies and carefully making a list of who we thought might buy a copy. We never imagined how God would take our imagined two loaves and a few fish to multiply the impact of Esteemed like He has!
• Group Bible Studies — I’ve loved leading groups through Esteemed—and loved even more seeing friends and family lead their own! Soon, my daughter-in-law will be helping lead a group, and my other daughter-in-law will join the group! What a blessing to watch women gather around God’s Word together to know Him better and understand His amazing love and grace for us.
• Israel Study Tour — Our first study tour to Israel (originally scheduled for this year but now postponed until November 2026) included some fantastic people who were a joy to get to know! We can hardly wait to be in the land with them next year!
• Growing Connections — Our website, social media, blog, and guest blogs are slowly but steadily growing. I’ve also had the privilege of attending a few industry conferences, where I’ve met colleagues, now friends, who serve Jesus in inspiring ways.

Earlier this year, I noticed a friend’s email signature and loved it so much that I asked to “borrow” it for my own. He graciously agreed, and it feels very appropriate as we celebrate this milestone.
